Cotton processing

Once the raw cotton has been harvested, it is transported to our factory at Las Marismas de Lebrija SCA. Upon reception, the cotton is initially classified into different qualities based on quality, colour and length to obtain homogeneous fibres.

Once the cotton is classified, the ginning process removes the seed from the fibre. This mechanical process is carried out under the strict control of technicians and factory operators to ensure that the final product is suitable and consistent with the quality demanded by our customers.

Once processed, the cotton is compressed and packed into 220-kilo bales and placed inside a natural thread casing. These cotton bales are transported and stored in sets of 100 units each, per commercial standards and our quality control laboratory’s instructions.
