Types of packaging
The great care put into manufacturing tomato concentrate goes beyond the manufacturing the product. An excellent tomato paste would see its quality diminished if it is not stored and transported in the best packaging.
Consequently, the tomato concentrate produced at Las Marismas de Lebrija SCA is delivered in a variety of industrial formats, tailored to our customers’ needs, albeit always ensuring food safety and product quality.
Different packagings for a unique tomato concentrate
After the tomato is processed, it is packaged aseptically in the following food-grade bags once the temperature has levelled out:
Conical metal drum
- Ceramic-lined drum with a net weight of 225-245 kg, depending on the packaged product.
- Inner protective bag (separates the ceramic lining from the aseptic bag that contains the product).
- Custom-made lid (plastic, metal, galvanised and aluminised steel).
- Transported in shrink-wrapped pallets with 4 units per pallet, secured together to ensure efficient and safe transport.
- Packaging manufactured by a leading, reputable international company with a long track record in the sector.
Goodpack large format:
- Steel containers holding an aseptic bag with a net weight of 1,350-1,600 kg, depending on product and demand.
- Inner protective bag (separates the steel interior from the aseptic bag that contains the product).
- Optimisation for containerisation (20 and 40 feet). Foldable, easy return packaging.
- Reusable packaging manufactured by a leading international company.
Corrugated cardboard drum:
- Corrugated cardboard drum with a net weight of 225-245 kg depending on the packaged product.
- Alternative to the most ecological metal drum.
- Possibility of lower discharge.
- Less environmental impact by having a lower water and carbon footprint.
- Stackable up to 4 heights.
- Transport in pallet with 4 units attached to each other, guaranteeing an efficient and safe transport.
- 100% recyclable container, manufactured by a national reference firm.
